Dinner for a Marine and girlfriend
While having dinner at a very nice white tablecloth restaurant (M) in Columbus, OH, noticed a very young (19) Marine in full dress uniform having dinner with what was obviously his very young girlfriend at the table next to us. Instructed the waitress put their bill on our tab. When they went to pay she informed them the bill had been paid for to thank him for his service to our country. The astonished look of surprise and gratitude on their faces was worth every penny. Gave Thanksgiving a whole different meaning!!
