We thought all children should be happy & healthy… so we decided to make a difference!
Our names are Mary & Cat and we were living a quiet life in the UK working as pediatricians. After a trip to India in 2006, we were overwhelmed by the needs of the children we met, and the challenges and injustices we saw meant that many children couldn’t access health care.
So we went back to the UK and got angry… and got sad… and got frustrated… and decided to act.
So we simply gave up our jobs in the UK and moved to live and work in India as voluntary pediatricians. We set up a small children’s charity to enable us to help more and more children.
But to us… every child matters… every child counts… so we stop for the one in front of us and do what we can.
