I Like Street Beggers.

Should I give to the person begging on the street?
As I drive home from work each day, I see many people begging for money to help their families. I have always struggled with how to help these people, so I’ve done nothing. However, a couple weeks ago I was driving home and saw something different. A lady was just beginning her “time on the street” begging for money. She took a deep breath and held up her sign and began crying. I drove by, but I felt like God was telling me that I needed to go back. I turned around and went into the parking lot near where she was standing. I reached out the window with all I had on me, $15 at the time. She began sobbing. I just told her, “I turned around and brought this back to you. I don’t know what is going on in your life right now, but I’m praying this helps.” She thanked me through tears and I was on my way. I don’t know what she will do with that money, but I’ve come to the realization that it is not my job to know what they will do – only to follow the nudges that are put in my life to give and help others.
