I Like Foster Care.

Submitted by Scott Jones (Enola, PA)

We recently started the process to become foster parents.

About a year ago we ran into a women from our church who had her 6 week old grandson with her and she looked exhausted and tired. We found out the parents had lost rights to there son and they are in the process of finding a home for him until the parents can get the training they need to take care of there son. We talked about it and prayed all weekend and decided to bring this newborn into our home with our 10 and 7 year old daughters. It was hard at first going back to the all night feedings and little sleep but we worked together as a family and got through those long nights. It is almost a year later and the parents are still unable to take back there son so we have moved forward with being foster parents and hope, God willing to adopt him one day soon. This has proven to be quite the experience and we are so blessed to have him in our lives.
